David Gurland‘s critically acclaimed Madonna revue “Neurotica” returns to New York City, to the The Laurie Beechman Theater as part of the DGUR Concert series for one night only as ‘Madonna Unplugged‘ on May 20th, 2007
On Sunday May 20th at 7 PM- David Gurland and the Laurie Beechman Theatre will present ‘MADONNA Unplugged‘- A Madonna Tribute show covering twenty of Madonna’s hit songs from the early 80’s through the present with many surprises along the way. This version will be an ‘acoustic‘ version of David’s hit show NEUROTICA which premiered in May of 2005, when it enjoyed sold out crowds and rave reviews with its unique mergence of rock music and the theatricality of a cabaret show. In addition to the arrangements and musical direction, award winning songwriter/instrumentalist Michael Holland will be lending his beautiful voice to the mix and playing guitar and piano. The show also features Jerry Smith on percussion and vocals.
