Diamonds on the Dance Floor

Madonna’s latest studio album, “Confessions On A Dance Floor“, has reached “Diamond status” in both France and Italy.

“Confessions On A Dance Floor” has been officially certified Diamond (750,000 copies shipped) by Snep (Syndicat National de l’Edition Phonographique) in France.

400,000 copies of “Confessions On A Dance Floor” have been shipped to stores in Italy by December 15 2006, so that qualifies for the Diamond certification (the equivalent of 5 Platinums 5×80,000=400,000).
“Confessions” is also the best selling foreign album in Italy in the “2005-2006” two year period.
