First images from ”Madonna and Me”
Here are the first images from “Madonna and Me“, the new play written by Tommy Kearney and produced by Scouse Productions running at the Union Theatre in Southwark from April 24 to May 12 2007.
Set in Whiston a suburb of Liverpool during the 80s, “Madonna and Me” is a journey of discovery through a landscape of the school disco, Madonna’s Who’s that Girl Tour at London’s Wembley Stadium, Butlin’s Holiday Camp and the street where they all grew up, “Around Ours”, showing how an American popstar influences their lives and how a simple song and video can change a person’s life.
Madonna and Me is centred around friendship and loyalty because friendship is about loyalty. Isn’t it?
