Great things come in small packages
M-Tribe Community member howiet was lucky enough to attend the UK premiere of Arthur and the Invisibles in London on Thursday night.
“When Madonna took her jacket off she was stunning” – hoiet writes – “she was wearing what I think was a D&G dress (the one that was on the cover of last weeks Sunday Times Style magazine) in brown. It was a corset , with much booby jiggling going on when she walked, and an above the knee skirt with black tights.
Stunning.”
“Madonna was introduced by director Luc Besson and she came out and made a speech, talking about how it was a pleasure for her to make a film she can watch with her family, and that as she is a the queen, it was nice to see what it was like to be a princess. She signed a few autographs in the cinema for some kids, and stayed for the whole film.”
Luc Besson: “Next to him (Freddie Highmore) there is a 2mm princess, but she’s probably the best princess in the world, she’s Miss Madonna“.
(Applause)
Madonna: “I may only be 2mm’s but great things come in small packages.
So… I would like to thank Luc for giving me the opportunity to make this film for two very important reasons.
It’s the first time in my life I’ve ever been able to play a princess, um… and after years of being a queen, its meant a lot to me (laughs).
Um.. the other reason is ‘cos it’s the first film I’ve ever made that I can sit down and enjoy with my whole family, so thank you.
I hope you enjoy watching this film as much as I enjoyed making it.”
(Applause)
Special thanks to howiet.
