Green light for HM Advert in the UK
The UK Advertising Standards Authority – ASA – have dissmissed the claims from members of the UK audience that Madonna’s H&M advert encourages paeodophilia and violence.
Television censors have said the advert can be considered “artistic” adding that the actress in the commercial, stripped by two men/fashion designers, is 24 years old and not dressed in the style of a young girl. Also Madonna’s whip would be seen as a symbol of her artistic style, not a threat of physical punishment.
