Hey You – The Fans Speak – Part Two
Thanks to all the people who are contacting us to help us cover this
special occasion in Madonna career. A brand new song from the Queen Of Pop to be legally downloaded for free is not something happening everyday.
Here are some more fan reviews of Madonna’s new song “Hey You“.
Before I get into my review,
I just want to genuinely thank the people at Madonnatribe.com for creating the most extensive, friendly, and enjoyable
Madonna fansite on the web. And they always somehow manage to get the true rumors to us first, not to mention so much more.
I visit the site daily and and amazed by all the incredible effort shining through. I adore this place, never stop; just like her.
Here we go again, new material from our Beloved and our minds are ticking away at what to think… how to feel.
I am just happy we get new material! But onto the song!
Pharrell is a genius, much like Missy, Timbaland, and Madonna herself. And when you get one of them together
with Madonna,
the results are creative. This song is creative. Unlike the repetitive, pointless tracks from Confessions, which are still enjoyable,
this song has more depth. The sounds Pharrell decided to use – soft guitar, rolling snare drum, light bells, and soothing yet powerful
synths and strings, is heartwarming. Remeniscent to us hardcore fans of Madonna past but again charming to everyone.
Her voice is magnificent! Finally! Sure, Confessions has excellent singing, but who would know with the encompassing dance drama!
It is nice to have her back; sometimes she gets lost in an album or stage in order to bring back her career, yet we all know what she truly loves.
Waking people up. When I saw her more than ten years ago at only 10 years old, scaring the nation into self-analysis with her “Human Nature” clip,
I wanted to be like her. I am not so sure about the chorus part with “…someone else,” it is bizarre and ruins some of the melody and fluency
of the rest of the song.
She needs a video for this. A good one, an expensive one that is both shocking and beautiful, and even smart.
If she cops out and uses footage from the event, which may be in some crappy contract, then she is only hurting her career.
Yet we know that with Pharrell and Timbaland (maybe not so much Justin), Madonna‘s next stage will be rewarding all around.
I just wish Missy was thrown in there as well! Thanks again Madonnatribe!

Love it.
Love it cause it match perfectly with the Live Earth intention.
Love it cause it’s so quite simple (despite the Coadf dancy things, in good or bad).
Love it cause it’s so unexpected (in good or bad).
Love it cause it had a so retro mood.
Love it cause isn’t liked by others.
Thanks Mrs M for this treasure and to show us once again that “if we want we could“.
Love and Peace,
Colin
“Hey You” is a
great acoustic song! After the energy-driven Confessions album, it’s kinda nice for her to take it down to a song from the heart, perfect for
the upcoming concert. Before we know it, her next album will be out and we’ll be dancing again!
