Let your voice be heard

With the release of the official Annie Lennox press release mentioning Sing, the song featuring Madonna, insiders that have had the chance to hear a sneek preview of the song, (that is also known as Sing My Sister because that’s what Annie says in the Chorus) report us a little more about the lyrics.
The song is about the fact women must be strong and they have to “sing”, so that their voice can be heard by politicians and men in general and have their rights respected. “Sing my sister sing, let your voice be heard” Annie Lennox repeats in the chorus, adding that “what won’t kill you will make you stronger”.

This song is a very powerful anthem, that in the same spirit of Madonna’s “Hey You” delivers a simply, yet strong message, with a simple melody that stays in people’s head.
