Madonna among the Most Influential Celebrities.
E-Poll Market Research is a Californian company which ranks almost 3,000 celebrities on 46 different personality attributes and compiles their Celebrity Influence Index.
Their most recent list of The 15 Most Influential Celebrities as reported by Forbes.com is topped by Oprah Winfrey, with an “Influential Score” of 54%, followed by Bono (42%)
and Michael Jordan (38%).
There are only three female celebrities in the list of 15. The Queen of all media is followed by actress Angelina Jolie at #7 (“undeniably attractive and almost automatically perceived as intelligent, sincere and influential”) and by the Queen of Pop at #11.
Here is what Forbes has to say about Madonna.
• 11. Madonna. Influential Score: 27%
“During her 25 years in the spotlight, Madonna has proved a “ray of light.” In addition to a slew of accolades and chart-topping songs, she has sold more than 200 million albums, making her one of the best-selling acts around. The Material Girl recently made waves for ditching her longtime record label at Warner Music Group in favor of a $120 million all-encompassing deal with concert promotion giant Live Nation.
Off-mic, she’s focused her efforts on the orphanages of Malawi and the Jewish teachings of Kabbalah.”
