Madonna for World Peace One?
According to reports by Cina View, World Peace One – a non-profit charitable organization founded in 2006 to assist, progress, and preserve the emerging world community towards a state of peace, abundance, and prosperity – has invited big names like U2, Madonna, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Green Day to come together and sing a song titled called “Give Your Love” as a call for world peace. The recording is scheduled to take place in February in the United States, although the list of confirmed artists has not been announced yet.
After the recording, a concert entitled “A Call for an End to War” will take place on August 11 in the United States, featuring an unprecedented lineup of world-class performers from every corner of the globe. It will reach a 3.5 billion-strong audience across 180 countries via television, radio, the internet and streaming cell phones.
South Africa’s former president Nelson Mandela and UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon are also expected to attend the concert.
