Madonna’s Mega-Hit Hung Up got a certification of 3 x Gold (3 x 150.000
units = 450.000 units) for sales alone in Germany (CD-Maxi-Single,
CD-2-Track-Single, 7″ Vinyl Single, 12″ Vinyl-Maxi-Single,
DVD-Audio-Single, DVD-Video-Single and official Download-Singles).
Hung Up spent nine weeks on the No. 1 spot in the German Top 100 (based on sales only) and became
Madonna’s biggest hit in Germany.
