Mark ”Spike” Stent at work on Madonna’s new album

Yet again, we get a hint of what’s going on with Madonna’s upcoming project from a not directly-related source – this time again from another artist’s personal blog.

This is what wrote on his MySpace blog a couple days ago:

I visited my friend Spike in the studio today..
He’s been working on the new M album and I hadn’t seen him for 2 years.
He’s another Englishman I adore. He and Willie Williams are mentors to me.
What is it about the English? They seem to dot my path like paper lanterns.

Spike if of course Mike “Spike” Stent, the is record producer and sound engineer who has been working with M on her “Bedtime Stories”, “Evita”, “Music”, “American Life” and “Confessions On A Dance Floor” albums. And now thanks to Darren you know he’s busy at work on Madonna’s new album, which also means that they are likely to be mixing the final cut.
