Pausini to cover La Isla Bonita live

During rehearsarls for her concert happening tomorrow in Milan, Italian singer and latin star Laura Pausini performed her own version of Madonna‘s classic La Isla Bonita. It is not yet sure if she will eventually perform the Madonna cover tomorrow during her show at San Siro Stadium. Actually it is the first time a woman plays that venue.

In 2005 Pausini recorded an Italian and Spanish version of the Madonna penned song Like A Flower retitled Mi Abbandono A Te, a track rejected from the 1998 Madonna album Ray of Light.

• June 2nd update: At her gig at the San Siro stadium in Milan on Saturday night, under some quite heavy rain, Laura Pausini did eventually perform her rendition of “La Isla Bonita” in a version mixed up with Ivano Fossati’s “La Mia Banda Suona Il Rock“.
