Recap on Next Big M Project
Now that the Confessions Tour DVD is about to be released (a week away), fans start to anticipate the “next big project” by Madonna, the new H&M campaign. Let’s have a recap of the news we have on the matter, many of which exclusively premiered right here on MadonnaTribe.com.

Our friends at H&M issue a press release and inform us that after the success of Madonna’s first campaign in July/August 2006, the Queen of Pop will be launching a new fashion line with H&M in March 2007. The ‘M by Madonna‘ fashion line will reflect Madonna’s timeless, unique and always glamorous style. A long standing cultural icon whose enormous global influence on how people dress and look is without equal, Madonna worked hand in hand with Margareta van den Bosch to create a wardrobe of clothing and accessories that represent her own personal and modern spin on her very own wardrobe staples.

That same day, following the press announcment, MadonnaTribe received additional exclusive info about the campaign speaking about the first time about a Tv commercial. “The campaign will be a completely new one. Not only Madonna will be designing her own line but there’s also going to be a TV Commercial with her plus a brand new fashion photoshoot, something completely different from the previous one by Rankin.

WWD.com reveiled that photographer Steven Klein has shot the ad campaign for Madonna’s second collection with Hennes & Mauritz. Industry sources told the magazine that the mood is ultraglamorous and, surprise, very sexy. The ads feature curve-hugging silhouettes, military details and satin cummerbunds, and the pieces reflect Madonna’s own wardrobe, which is packed with tight skirts, high heels and sunglasses. Clothes from the collection are slated to hit stores in March 2007.
