Shanghai Surprise special edition out in the US on April 10

Shanghai Surprise, Madonna’s second major feature film co-starring Sean Penn will be back on DVD in the U.S. market as a one-disc special edition on April 10, 2007 from Lions Gate.

Here is some additional info regarding this Special Edition:

Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release Shanghai Surprise: Special Edition on April 10th. The notorious ’80s flop, starring Madonna and then-husband and paparazzi boxer Sean Penn, arrives with a 1:85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 tracks.

Extras include a “Fans Unite!” commentary track, “Lights, Camera, Shanghai”, “Madonna: 1986” and “I Love Shanghai Surprise” featurettes. Retail is $19.98.
