Susan in London

Desperataly Seeking Susan, the musical based on the popular film starring Madonna in 1985, will debut soon at the Novello theatre in London. Here’s a look at the posters that have been put out of the theatre. As you can see the logo reprises the “heart” Susan does in the movie to tick the personals she’s interested in.

Unfortunately the musical does not contain any Madonna music or songs, but it uses songs by Blondie. We think it’s a real pitty as this project would have been the perfect chance to showcase the strenght and beauty of Madonna music repertoire in the west est.
Still, it remains an interesting story and probably will turn great into musical material.
