The Confessions Tour debuts in the UK and Dutch charts

Congratulations to Madonna for secureing her 18th UK chart album with The Confessions Tour.

The CD/DVD package debuts at #7 this week selling 22,000 copies.
A vast improvement compared to last year’s I’m Going To Tell You A Secret, a similar CD/DVD souvenir of her 2004 Re-Invention tour, that peaked at number 18 and sold only 39,000 copies, making it the lowest selling Madonna album thus far.

In the Netherlands Madonna’s Confessions Tour debuts at #2 in the album chart topped by Norah Jones’ new album “Not Too Late”.

The Confessions Tour is Madonna’s 16th Top 10 album in Holland.
