The ”Pop Up Videos” comeback at VH!Classic.com

VH1 Classic – a division of Viacom’s
MTV Networks – is bringing back the original “Pop-Up Video” series online at VH1Classic.com.

Beginning today, close to 50 “popped” videos from artists including Madonna, Michael Jackson, Culture Club and Whitney Houston are available on demand. Additional videos will be added to the online archives in early January 2008.

Until now, the popular music series, which aired on VH1 from 1996 to 2002 was not available online and has only rarely been seen on TV since the series ended. Videos included in the initial online launch include, among others, Madonna’s “Express Yourself“, directed by David Fincher.
