A vintage, unseen 1984 Madonna picture on French tv tonight

The new season of French tv show “A la recherche de la nouvelle star” – that you can consider as the French version of American Idol – started today and its first episode contained an unexpected Madonna moment.

While introducing jury member Philippe Manoeuvre, a French music journalist and editor of “Rock & Folk” magazine, they showed a pic you’ve probably never seen before, which is likely to come from his personal collection.

The photograph was taken in 1984 when Madonna was a guest of “Les enfants du rock” at La mer de sable near Paris and performed “Holiday” on the show.
