Cine Live Interview
Fabrice Leclerc and Thierry Chèze, two lucky journalists, met Madonna at her New York apartment late at night on august 6 for an exclusive interview published in the latest issue of French magazine Ciné Live.
In this great interview we learn The Queen of Pop is already working on her second movie as a director (“I already wrote a 40-page draft.(…) I’ll finish writing the script while touring and I plan to direct it in spring 2009”) and French director, Luc Besson wrote a script for her (‘The Singer‘) five years ago but she didn’t like it. She blames her celebrity for the failure of her movie career (“They judged me, not the movie“)
Asked about her best memories as an actress, she replies: ‘Evita‘ (“from the very beginning to the end of the project”), ‘Snake Eyes‘ (“Abel Ferrara is crazy but he’s a genius”).She added starring with Harvey Keitel (‘Blue in the Face’ & ‘Snake Eyes’) and Al Pacino (‘Dick Tracy’) were great memories too.
