Fan Review from Rio
M Tribe reader Amanda Jordão from Brazil has written a nice review of the Madonna concert that she wants to share with our visitors. Here’s what she has to say:
“Ok, it was rainy day. Since the beginning that was really clear.
Before the show start, the audience started to scream: ‘Time goes by so slowly, Time goes by so slowly’. Really slowly, 15 years waiting for that
night and it was worth it. The rain didn’t stop us or Madonna.
When the Candy Factory began the whole stadium was histerical. Then, after Candy Shop Madonna said:” Alright, Rio de Janeiro” !! Man, I waited a long
time to hear that.
The audience was great, Madonna was really happy. She and the dancers felt the energy coming from all of us. I was at the VIP area, and it was really
close, I could see her eyes.
Everyone was singing the songs and Madonna invented one song for the rain: ”Fuck the rain, it has to stop, ole ole, ole, ole” Really good.
One of the best moments was when she sang You must love me. She sang: You must love…and the audience answerd: you, i love you (everyone was shouting that). And the people screamed: Madonna, Madonna, several times during the whole, she was trilled.
The last part was the best. ”Like a prayer” rocked the stadium. ”Give it 2 me” ended the show and Madonna and the dancers couldn’t believe.
Yes, it was rainning, but the audience screamed and danced all the time, it was amazing. One of the dancers Hypinosis pick the brazilian flag and jumped while he was holding the flag.
It was unbelievable. I have no voice, my arms and legs are aching, but I don’t care, Madonna was there.
Kisses,
Amanda Jordão
