Here are the latest Madonna news coming from Italy. Our friends at Warner Music Italy inform us that, as it happened with 4 minutes they won’t be distributing a physical single for Give It 2 Me. The song will be then officially available and will chart as a digital single only, but various imports of the single (that are not eligible to chart) will be available in Italian music stores from private distributors.
Warner Italy also informs us that the Triple Vinyl edition of Hard Candy will officialy be released in Italy this Friday. Contrary to our earlier report it is still not clear which of the two existing editions of this release will indeed reach Italian stores. Friday we will be available to tell!
The original US release (pictured below) features two candy colored swirled discs and two bonus remixes of the first single, “4 Minutes” on a “regular” black 12″ disc.
A second version of this release, that appears to be European made, has appeared on the market and comes with full Blue and Pink vinyls with fine “marble-like stripes” instead of the candy swirled design.
