While for many reasons the Sticky & Sweet Tour concert at Wembley Stadium yesterday night was a night to forget rather than one to remember – Madonna’s performance certainly was not.

Once again she proved to be able to deliver a kick ass show and – even if the interaction with the crowd wasn’t exactly as energetic as some of her most recent shows, her performance was once again amazing, energetic and filled with smiles, funny faces, chatty interstitials – including one about how great it was that it didn’t “f*cking rain”. Madonna was clearly happy to perform in her British home town and it showed. And once again connecting with her on stage is the only thing that can sweep any concert trouble away.
