Madonna NOT on Blackwell’s list

Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has been named the worst dressed celebrity in an annual list of fashion disasters by
fashion critic Richard Blackwell, who has compliled the poll every year since 1960.
While Madonna, Barbra Streisand and Elizabeth Taylor all met with approval from Mr Blackwell, who also said Queen Elizabeth II had “managed to update her Stonehenge of style image”.

Singer Amy Winehouse‘s trademark beehive and tattoos helped earn her second place in the worst dressed celebrity list. Actress Mary-Kate Olsen was in third.
Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie followed at number four, with former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson in fifth place.

Mr Blackwell, who began his career in the 1950s and had his own clothing line for 35 years, said 2007 stood out as one of the “most disastrous fashion years in recent memory”.

Blackwell also released a Fabulous Fashion Independents list although celebrities were not ranked. He included Reese Witherspoon, Jemima Khan, Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Nicole Kidman, Katie Holmes, Kate Middleton, Madonna and Cate Blanchett.
