More rumours are coming in from the Spanish press about an additional show to the Sticky & Sweet Tour itinerary.

Today it’s the turn of el Périodico de Catalunya from Barcelona, with reports about Madonna having optioned the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc for September 18.

In an article that you can check out here el Périodico mentions how this could mark the return of the Queen of Pop to the Catalan capital city after negotiations to bring her to Barcelona in 2004 and 2006 did not materialize.

The most recent Madonna show in town so far was of course the opening of her Drowned World tour at the Palau Sant Jordi in 2001.

No need to say nothing about a Spanish stop of the tour has been officially announced yet.
