Malcolm Middleton to cover a Madonna song

UK singer Malcolm Middleton of Arab Strap has covered a vintage Madonna song for his upcoming new album.

The song chosen is Stay, written by Madonna and Stephen Bray originally released on the 1985 Like A Virgin album as the closing track.

Malcom‘s largely acoustic record, titled ‘Sleight of Heart‘, features three cover versions: Madonna’s ‘Stay’, King Creosote’s ‘Marguerita Red’ and Jackson C Frank’s ‘’Just Like Anything’, plus six original Middleton compositions.

‘Sleight of Heart’ is released through Full Time Hobby Records on March 3.
