“Just a couple of photos from Cardiff and here are a few spoilers.
I would say overall this is the most colourful and vibrant concert she ever done.
Opening has an amazing opening video. And its got the throne from promo tour.
Beat Goes On is ghetto fabulous. Big blinging white car and Madonna pimping it up ‘Music’ style.
Human Nature – Madge on guitar and in top hat. Britney is the video but no audio from Ms Spears except “its Britney bitch”.
Vogue – is magnificent. Madge on a podium pulling some fantastic moves. A bit of an edge to the song but it works. and sexy sexy costumes on the dancers.
Die Another Day is played to a boxing dance routine. Madonna looks amazing.
Into the Groove – Really fun – a total crowd pleaser. She skipped (hence the jump remix), she pole danced. And really colourful.
Borderline – Back on her guitar and rocking the 80s classic – really really good – did not damage a classic.
She’s Not Me – the best bit of the whole show – shocking but brilliant. her dancers dress up as different Madonnas. The virgin, the vamp from vogue, the material girl are all present with lots of old madonna images on the screens. absolutely hilarious!
Music – The promo version – another amazing crowd pleasing track as ever-
Devil Wouldn’t Recognise You – Really haunting. On a piano and enclosed in a translucent screen with images of rain around her. Very frozenesque.
Miles Away – Madonna guitaring and encouraging everyone to clap with her and sing the alternate ‘so far away’ lyric.
La Isla – Really colourful again. And sooooooo good. Exactly like Live Earth but with new choreography in some parts.
You Must Love Me – Really brilliant – her voice is sensational and emotional. Again on her guitar.
Four Minutes – Madge gets wiggy with it in a fringed wig. But same as promo.
Express Yourself – Not on the set list but she sang it in a sorta acapella way with the crowd.
Give it 2 Me – doesn’t seem to last as long as the Hung Up ending from confessions but has the same set up as she encourages the crowd to sing back at her.”
