News is all over TV, radio and other media in Argentina that the opening night concert of the South American leg of Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour has been canceled.

The 1st show of the four night run at the River Plate Stadium was scheduled to take place tonight, December 3rd, but due to an ariplane delay in Panama it has been rescheduled to Monday, December 8.

A plane carrying the costumes “hasn’t arrived though its delivery is still delayed” aeronautical authorities confirmed to Infobae.com. It was suggested that the show was able to be set up anyway with a lesser sound quality but reportedly Madonna decided herself to change it to be the last Argentinian date.

The other dates scheduled for December 04, 06 and 07 remain confirmed.
