What is this? A fucking bar mitzvah?

Here’s some more details from the Madonna concert tonight from M-Tribe reader Luis.

So… I sat this time on the lower loge side section of the stadium, 10th row. I must say you really appreciate all the visuals and effects that are going on when you can see the whole stadium. I don’t feel you get the same feeling when you are on the floor.

As always, no surprise, the show started late, more late than usual. She takes her time and makes us wait us new yorkers.
The show did not start till a little after 9:45 pm, so you can imagine what time we left the Garden.

I won’t bore you with more pictures that everyone has seen.
The Garden was completely full tonight, even the nosebleed section. The show went off a hit. She was on fire tonight, you could tell she was having fun by the time into the groove came around.

Some of the newer highlights of tonights show happened during the beat goes on, when the rolls royce came out on the stage, who was inside?, Pharrell Williams, the Garden went nuts, he also came out during the “Get Stupid” section of “Give It 2 me“, for the last song and when Madonna goes on the catwalk to make the audience sing, he was with her, and he was having fun as well.

The audience was great tonight I think.

Another highlight was during “You Must love Me“. She dedicated the song to Lola, her daughter because it was her 12th birthday tonight and she said that the first time she ever sang you must love me, Lola was still inside her, it was a touching moment, she sang it beautifully.

During the request section, the requested song took a while to be decided. for a moment I thought it was going to be “Everybody, she kept teasing us saying “I donit remember that one – that ones too slow – I am not singing a ballad, forget it“.

She finally decided and started singing “Express Yourself“. It was amazing.

Also, after the requested song, she started throwing condoms into the audience, she said either “use them or don’t use them because they have Sarah Palins face on them”, everyone went nuts.

Also, during “Ray of Light“, she went on her usual Sarah Palin comment during her guitar solo saying “This is the sound in Sarah Palin’s head when she is thinking“.

After the request section, she wouldn’t continue to hung up until everyone on the lower loge seated level got up, she said “What is this? A fucking bar mitzvah???” then, on the right side of the stage, there were 2 girls in the front row of the lower loge and they were still sitting, she started to talk directly to them, she said “Get up! Show some respect” it was amazing, LOL.

Then Pharrel Williams came out for “Give It 2 Me” at the end.

Tonight’s show was great, I believe some of the highlights were, “La Isla Bonita”, “Into the Groove”, “Like a Prayer”, and “Give It 2 Me”, the Garden went crazy when these songs came on.

Loved loved the show… she was on fire tonight.
