With the official announcement of the Sticky & Sweet Tour 2009 itinerary expected in the next few hours, let’s make a short recap of what MadonnaTribe has reported so far, and the latest:

• The tour is indeed an extension of Madonna’s hugely successfull “Sticky & Sweet” show, as also confirmed by Madonna.com the other day.

• At the current stage the tour is shaped as a European leg only. Again, this has been confirmed by Madonna.com.

• At the present stage, the tour will last two months – July and August 2009.

• The tour is aimed to visit cities where Madonna has not performed last Summer, and will also add some new countries to the list of those that have been lucky to welcome the Queen of Pop.

• The tour is scheduled to kick off in London on July 4th, 2009. Tickets will go on sale next week.
