”Celebration” nominated as Best Dance Recording at the Grammy Awards
Nominations for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards were announced by The Recording Academy last night on primetime television and Madonna‘s “Celebration” made the list in the Best Dance Recording which comprises solo, duo, group or collaborative performances – vocal or instrumental, as singles or tracks only.
Competition in this category is once again fierce this year as the Queen of the Dance Floor will fight against the likes of The Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta with Kelly Rowland, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears.
Eligibility year for the Grammy Awards ran from October 1, 2008 through August 31, 2009.
The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on January 31, 2010, at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on CBS.
