It’s Madonna’s loss

Comedy duo French and Saunders have taken a dig at Madonna for refusing to appear on their show.

Fresh from receiving their Bafta Fellowship Award to honour their 30 year partnership, Dawn Frnehc and Jennifer Saunders – who created some increbible Madonna skits in the past – revealed backstage that she was the only star who never agreed to feature in one of their shows.

“It’s her loss, that’s the way we’ve looked at it,” said French.

Jennifer joked: “We never used to like doing the show unless we’d actually had a ‘no’ from Madonna, so we used to insist that they ask her anyway to torture her.”

“Although we’re great admirers, of course,” French added.
