Madonna at the MEN Arena on July 8 – Cancelled

“We have been informed that Madonna at the MEN Arena on 8th July 2009 has been cancelled.

Refunds are available from point of purchase.

Customers who booked with Ticketmaster via our website or call centre will be contacted and offered an exchange to another date or a refund.

If your booking was made in person at a Ticketmaster Ticket Centre you must return to the original shop where you purchased your tickets and ensure you take all the tickets plus the till receipt with you in order to receive a refund.”

Customers who booked tickets online also received a similar email statement from Ticketmaster minutes ago. The email says that a refund has been issued to the credit card used at the time of booking, which means that they will not been offered exchanges and they will not be able to question the amount of the refund until it appears on their credit card status. It rather seems a quick way to settle the fuck-up and avoid people asking for complete refunds.
