Finally! Proof that Madonna is just like the rest of us.

The Material Girl was snapped happily munching on a pizza – and washing it all down with martinis!

Usually a strict advocate of a macrobiotic diet, it seems the 51-year-old singer may have been having a bad day at work.

We know just how you feel Madge; a Margherita and a martini is an excellent stress buster.

But the queen of reinvention may just be pulling the wool over our eyes.

Madonna was actually photographed filming a comedy scene for The Late Show with host David Letterman.

Madge and David filmed the skit in a pizza parlour next to the show’s usual studios in New York.

But even if it was all for the cameras, Madonna still looks as if she’s enjoying pigging out on the carb-heavy treat.

The singer was appearing on the show to promote her latest greatest hits album, Celebration. With a new album, three kids, a toy-boy lover and two ex-husbands, who wouldn’t need a piece of pizza to cope with all that!
