“Madonna, the Eighties“, the brand new book by Frédéric Gilloteau has now been released. Volumes ordered in the pre-sale are being shipped and copies of the volume are also available to purchase from the Lucky Records store in Paris.
Fred himself will be available for an exclusive book-signing session this coming Saturday, June 13 from 3 PM at Lucky Records, 66 rue de la Verrerie 75004 Paris (Metro Ligne 1 – Station Hotel de Ville).
After the success of “Madonna On Stage” and “European Sticky & Sweet Tour Memories“, Fred’s new piece of work reviews in details the discography of the queen of pop with the first volume of a trilogy which has already captured the fans’ attention. This new publication is the first ever retrospective of the amazing variety of items released throughout Madonna’s career, with contributions from the major collectors around the world, compiling over 2500 references and covering her entire career, making it the first Madonna bio-discography.
This first volume includes hundreds of products (vinyls, CDs, audio tapes), press cuttings, international charts and sales figures for singles and albums, promotional items and even some personal belongings covering the era spanning from 1980 to 1989.
