Just to add confusion to the much rumoured third 2009 Sticky & Sweet concert in Spain, the online website of ViaGoGo – the official partner of the tour for the fan-to-fan market – is now listing San Sebastian as the place where Madonna plays on July 25.

The first reports of a possible third concert in Spain to fill the gap in the schedule between Madrid and Hamburg started in mid-February and mentioned negotiations going on to bring the show to the city of Murcia.

The promoter reportedly working on the deal was mec:events – the same organization that brought Madonna to Valencia last year. An article in the local press said that the local authorities did not seem particularly keen on the offer and that the biggest competitor for Murcia was the city of San Sebastian in the Basque Country.

The name of Murcia did not appear in later reports – all indicating that the chosen city was instead Zaragoza, with announcements from local authorities and even reports about ticket prices, but no official confirmation from Madonna.com.

Now the name of San Sebastian seems to resurface, with ViaGoGo listing a show at Estadio Anoeta for the same date of July 25, but again nothing official has been announced.
