Madonna’s fight for Mercy on The Guardian

British newspaper The Guardian featured a five-page article about Madonna and Malawi on their “g2” section yesterday, Friday June 12.

Journalist Jaques Perretti reports about the adoption of Mercy James, traveling to Malawi, visiting the orphanage in which Mercy was held before the adoption, trying to understand what future would be the best for her.

It is a very well written piece which ends with a positive message about Madonna’s work in Malawi, certainly worth checking out. A documentary made by the same journalist will be aired on Channel 4 in the UK later on this month.
