New ticket booths opened in Sofia for Madonna concert

Less than a week before the much expected concert of Madonna in Sofia the organizers have opened three new ticket booths at the very concert spot, the Vasil Levski Stadium.

Madonna’s first ever concert in Bulgaria is scheduled for August 29, 2009, and is expected to be attended by about 50 000 fans. The tickets cost between BGN 100 and BGN 150.

The construction of the largest stage ever built in Bulgaria – 85 m in length, and 40 m in height – will start tomorrow, August 23.

About 1,000 staff will be involved in the preparation of the concert, the organizers from Sofia Music Enterprises have announced.
