On an on, goes the rumour
Not-so-official “official” confirmations of upcoming Madonna events are not uncommon. It happened quite often in the past, especially when new cities and dates of a Madonna tour were about to be announced.
There is a history of promoters announcing events before a deal was finalized (and those did not even materialize eventually), deals that were considered done that never went through.
It is happening again these days, with everything from full tour schedules to revised setlists to information coming from virtually anyone, from Madonna’s truck drivers to mysterious flies on the walls, and the world of fans checking their bank accounts, in panic.
As it always happen, the best thing it to take anything with a huge grain of salt. What may be interesting to report is what appeared on French newspaper La Provence the other day. Which is still to be considered a rumour, although this time the source is not simply someone in the know but apparently officials from the Mairie de Marseille.
