Queen of the Noughties
Madonna has been voted the celebrity who has been written about the most during the past decade, featuring in a staggering 45,633 UK national newspaper articles.
During the last decade, the singer has had one son, Rocco, married director Guy Ritchie and divorced him, as well as adopting two children, David and Mercy, from Malawi.
Alex Ayling from the TV channel Live, which carried out the survey, said: “Madonna’s ability to be able to reinvent herself and her image has meant she has stayed at the top of her game throughout the Noughties and we salute the queen of pop.”
In the “Column Inch Countdown”, Robbie Williams topped the most-written-about male and was talked about in 27,976 articles.
