Tribers’ reports from Belgrade
Be sure to keep checking the MadonnaTribe Forum for the latest updates and reports from the final few concerts of the 2009 Tour.
New today, straight from last night’s concert at Usce Park in Belgrade, are reports from our friends and Community members campos_girl, Zoran, and Avatar.
“Last night show was simply amazing” – Zoran writes on the Forum. “It is hard to explain how good it was. I was with some friends in Gold Circle area, and it was amazing seeing her so close. The show was 1 hour late with start, morning paper said that Madonna wanted to build up an atmosphere a bit, which was the case. The Belgrade crowd was as usual very tough, the almost 40.000 crowd came to listen and to watch, and not to scream and jump, but trust me that is the case for every artist that performs here.”
“She was in a great mood, smiling all the time and saying ‘Serbia’ a lot, which was a pleasure to the crowd. At “Beat Goes On” we got a ALL RIGHT, SERBIA!, which I thought was ‘hello, Serbia’, lol…”, Angie aka campos_girl wrote. “She was singing a lot and danced a little less than last year, but that’s not so bad. I was unspoiled when it comes to “Frozen” and “Dress You Up”, it was a nice surprise”.
“All in all, this was one of the concerts where you could see, hear, feel and taste the real performing genius of Madonna. The connection with audience was instant and was kept on during the whole show. She was intimate, she was outrageous, she was top notch,” our Team member Avatar wrote.
