If there was an award for worst journalistic faux pas at the Venice Biennale, an American reporter certainly deserved this.
He’s the one who assumed that Lourdes, a beautifully observed Austrian film directed by Jessica Hausner and set on a Catholic pilgrimage, was actually about Madonna’s daughter.
