Margo Stilley quits W.E. cast

The Sunday Telegraph reports that 9 Songs star Margo Stilley has quit the cast of Madonna’s W.E movie.

Stiller was lined up to play Lady Thelma Furness in the film on the love affair between Britain’s King Edward VIII and American divorcee Wallis Simpson.

She told the Sunday Telegraph: “I had the role, but we had artistic differences. She (Madonna) is really something. I wish the cast luck because they are all really talented.”

Madonna is now on the hunt for a new actress after Stilley dropped out.

Abbie Cornish and James D’Arcy have already been cast in the historical drama, which is scheduled for a 2011 release.
