Producer Dino De Laurentiis dies

Legendary Italian film producer Dino De Laurentiis has died in Los Angeles today. In the 40’s and 50’s he produced some
of the most popular Italian films including some of Fellini‘s masterpieces.

De Laurentiis was the international distributor and co-producer of the popular hit documentary film In Bed With Madonna (1991)
and then in 1992 produced for Madonna the infamous film Body Of Evidence directed by Uli Edel.
About working with Madonna he once said in an interview to Italian newspaper “Il Corriere Della Sera” that he
didn’t see Madonna as “the symbol of sin”,
as she was depicted at that time by world media. ” I see her as an apparent bad girl, who knows how to behave well
if you give her precise directions.”
