Ever wondered what Material Girl would sound like in Japanese?

Bilingual singer/songwriter Angela Aki is currently hosting an educational TV show in her native country of Japan, in which she teaches English. In each episode, a popular Western song is translated from English to Japanese.

To coincide with this, she has just released an album featuring studio versions of all twelve interpretations.

One of them is of course the Madonna’s classic hit single “Material Girl“.
