There’s a great story on Billboard.com reporting how Madonna achieved another Hot Tours No. 1 ranking – for the 5th time since the MDNA tour kicked off – based on concert receipts. Barbra Streisand ranks No. 2 and Jay-Z follows at 3 during the tracking period that covers October 2, 2012 – November 17, 2012, six weeks of MDNA tour dates from Seattle through Atlanta.

The attendance for the six weeks of concerts is 336,386 fans.

With $60 million in receipts from these concerts, the Queen’s treasury increases to an MDNA total so far of $233 million, with another month to go of South American concerts through December 22nd.
