In Bed With Madonna screening at Fringe! Film Fest
The Fringe! Film Fest in London are putting together a late night screening of In Bed With Madonna/Truth or Dare followed by an afterparty in collaboration with Hot Boys Dancing Spot at Dalston Superstore on Friday, April 13.
They will be also running some special voguing classes the following Saturday and Sunday during the festival.

Fringe!’s In Bed with 1000 Madonnas’ night kicks off with a late night screening of the infamous documentary following the queen of pop on her 1990 Blonde Ambition Tour, hosted by East Eng drag legend Holestar. Sing and dance along in the aisles to hits including Like A Virgin, Papa Don’t Preach and Vogue and get drawn into the backstage dramas, on stage dance routines, deep-throating of water bottles and watching Madge fool around with her gay dancers.
Dress up as Madonna throughout the ages and be in with a chance to win some amazing prices. The best dressed Madonnas will be picked pre-screening in the Rio foyer to compete in an on-stage Vogue Off to be crowned Queen of Pop (for the night).

Voguing is a dance class led by the fabulous Nathaniel Parchment. It is a highly stylized, modern house dance that evolved out of the Harlem ballroom scene in the 1960s. It gained mainstream exposure when it was featured in Madonna’s video “Vogue” in 1990, and when showcased in the 1990 documentary Paris is Burning.
