Madonnatribe Community member Doug reports back from Charlotte, North Carolina, where he attended his third MDNA Tour show last night. Doug first went to see Madonna perform in DC on both nights, and won the Icon tattoo contest and got to experience the show from the Golden Triangle a second time.

“Good thing too as we had a couple surprise guests,” Doug writes. “First, Monte Pittman made an appearance and we took a couple photos together, then, Moira McPharlin – Madonna’s childhood friend seen in “Truth or Dare” – arrived with her daughter, the very baby we heard about in the movie, aptly named, Madonna.

We took a photo and wound up spending much of the show together, which was awesome! I asked her a few questions about things we saw in Truth or Dare, and she admitted that M passed on the Godmother role, but has helped her family out over the years.
Madonna got a good notice of her during the main stage portion of “I Don’t Give A” and gave her an acknowledging gesture. Moira was a hoot, and kept asking when “Vogue” was coming.

Not really any other major surprises during the show itself. “Masterpiece” was back, and she collected money again for NYC during “Like a Virgin“, and asked for a tissue from the audience before she sang LAV. “Give It 2 Me” was mashed back into “Celebration“, which I like much better than just Celebration (which is what I saw in DC).”
