Murrayfield rehearsal pics by Steph
One of the things that made several European shows unique over the past Summer was the opportunity for some lucky fans to watch Madonna rehearse numbers from the MDNA show during the sound-check. In one of those dates, what Monte Pittman uses to call “sound check parties” was so long to be almost a show on its own – and in a way, it actually was.
At the July 21st show at Murrayfield in Edinburgh the fans got in the venue while Madonna has just started rehearsing “Girl Gone Wild” – and you can tell by her face that she was surprised, too.
But eventually the first Madonna show in Scotland ended up also being the shortest MDNA concert to date, with the entire “Like A Virgin” and “I’m Addicted” peformances (and the slacklining number during “Nobody Knows Me”) scrapped becuase of a curfew imposed by local authorities.
“I’m Addicted” was actually rehearsed, though, like images like the ones shared by MadonnaTribe contributor Steph show.
