Murrayfield video and report by Peter
MadonnaTribe contributor Peter shares a YouTube video that was recorded on Saturday at Murrayfield where Madonna grabs a towel from one of the stage hands during “Like A Prayer” and starts drying the stage herself.

“We were at the very front of the catwalk and the show was amazing,” Peter writes. And here is his small review:
First of all, let me say… that was the BEST Madonna concert ever and here’s why:
The good bits…
1) We were in about 5 different queues to get in to the Early Access bit, but when we finally got through we were at the very front against the barrier next to the catwalk-
2) When we walked in, Madonna was dressed in trackies and baseball cap and was starting her sound check. It was amazing, it lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes and she went all round the stage and showed off the routines of some of the songs.
3) It started raining during Like A Prayer and Madonna took a towel and started drying the stage, it was so funny.
4) She joked with the crowd saying that the last time she was in Scotland she got married and hopefully this would be more memorable and longer lasting.
5) She talked to the crowd in the sound check and the concert and touched a few people in the Golden Triangle.
6) She took off her top and threw it too far, then asked the person in the audience to give it back to her.
7) The vast majority of the crowd were great and some good Mexican waves.
The bad bits…
1) She missed two songs from the last part. Like A Virgin (which loads of people would have wanted to hear) and I’m Addicted (my favourite MDNA song). She did explain on the sound check that she was up against a curfew and that was why she was singing more, in case the cut her off.
2) Rocco was missing. We found out Madonna had flown up from London in her private jet and flew back straight after the concert, so it may have been too late for Rocco, or he was spending time with his dad while he was in London
All in all a fantastic concert, and American friends, if you get the chance to go, do it! I want to see it again already 🙂
