Swiss Serenade

Rumors are flying that Madonna and Anne Hathaway could take turns serenading designer Valentino at his New Year’s Eve bash tonight at the Eagle Ski Club in Gstaad, and they might even do a duet at midnight, according to the New York Post.

Valentino’s NYE bash is the hottest ticket in Europe, the NYPost also reports, and people are flying in from all over the world for it. The designer is reportedly spending 500,000 euros on caviar, champagne, music, food, décor and fireworks at Wasserngrat Mountain.

Madonna has already been snapped by the paparazzis taking ski lessons in the exclusive Swiss mountain resort, while Hathaway is said to be accompanied by her husband, Adam Shulman, who she married in a Valentino gown this year.

Hosts Valentino and partner, Giancarlo Giammetti, have been seen in town this week with their pugs, while director Roman Polanski and Emmanuelle Seigner were also spotted.
